NZPTC was established in Fiji in 1994 and is a private tertiary institution offering Diplomas and Certificates.

NZPTC programs are approved by the Australian and New Zealand Governments and are recognized by relevant business, industry, professional organizations and tertiary institutions. The Diploma courses are moderated by partner institutions twice yearly. NZPTC is also offering English language programs to students who like the idea of holidaying in Fiji combined with studying English language.

NZPTC has 5 institutions around Fiji located in Suva, Nasinu, Ba, Lautoka and Nadi. At the Nadi Institute we also have a training hotel which provides practical training to our hospitality students. Through the Nadi Institute we also offer Flight Attendant Training to meet the growing demands of the aviation industry.

Subhas Chandra the founder of NZPTC has a mission for the Institute to be highly regarded for excellence in education. Subhas strives for NZPTC to be recognized as a leader in providing vocational education in Fiji.

Mr. Subhas Chandra, B. Com, Graduate from Auckland University, New Zealand. He also holds a Post Graduate Certificate from Macquarie University and Diploma in International Business from the Auckland University of Technology

CEO of the Pacific Group Mr. Subhas Chandra set up NEW ZEALAND PACIFIC TRAINING CENTRE in 1994, in Lautoka City. This was a shared office cum classroom with half a dozen computers and three students. During that time sales level were not very satisfactory as there was no competition and people were still grappling with the concept of computers as modern technology. It is from then the company has grown to 600 computers and 3000 students. It is poised to grow further with innovative ideas and technological revolution currently underway.

Today The Pacific NEW ZEALAND PACIFIC TRAINING CENTRE boasts five major centres in Fiji, they are in Suva, Lautoka, Ba, Nasinu and Nadi (Head Office).

Enjoyed partnership with the Boxhill Institute of TAFE dates back to 1999-2010.

NEW ZEALAND PACIFIC TRAINING CENTRE provides Diploma courses in Information Technology, Business Accounting, Banking & Finance and Hospitality.

NEW ZEALAND PACIFIC TRAINING CENTRE also provides a wide range of courses on full time and part time basis. Every effort is made to provide well trained people for the workforce. Every room in the Pacific NEW ZEALAND PACIFIC TRAINING CENTRE includes laboratories that are fully air conditioned. Also well qualified and professionally trained staff provides wholesome learning and teaching environment. Individual attention is given to students needing special help.

Along with time, dedication, hard work and family support progress was maintained and NEW ZEALAND PACIFIC TRAINING CENTRE was expanded to Sports Academy which is one of its kind in Fiji with well equipped classrooms, laboratories, training facilities, gymnasium and Sports Fields. The vision is to train and support sports teams (sportsmen and sportswomen) to be successful ambassadors of Fiji in the ever exploding global market

In 2008, Mr. Subhas Chandra achieved another stepping stone in his career, as NEW ZEALAND PACIFIC TRAINING CENTRE established its own Pacific Training Hotel to train HOSPITALITY students and prepare them for hotel and related services industry. The company prides itself on its own modern Restaurant, Bar and Accommodation.

With increased popularity and public demand, the institute is further developing 80 Rooms Accommodation in Nadi. Currently the development is going through its final phase, with the view to provide a Quality Accommodation Services.

In 2008, in pursuit of excellence, NEW ZEALAND PACIFIC TRAINING CENTRE in conjunction with the South Pacific International Academy started providing Flight Attendant Training course This is a new area of course effectively designed and executed to develop Flight attendants for the rapidly growing aviation industry locally and internationally.

The Pacific NEW ZEALAND PACIFIC TRAINING CENTRE as pioneers in computer training in Fiji currently provides employment to more than 100 employees. It is our intention to increase this number upon the completion of our 80 room accommodation unit, thus providing opportunity for more people to join our team.
