In each class, there are on average 8-10 students. This enables students to have
closer interaction with their teachers and get personal attention from them.
On top of that, students have easy access to administrators and student support
staff. They are helpful, friendly and professional when dealing with students.
Our teachers and staff have extensive experience teaching and assisting international
students cope with culture, lifestyle, language and weather. They will assist students
in all aspects of living and adapting to new environment.
We also have teachers
and staff who are bi-lingual and able to assist students in their own language.
Additional student support such as one-to-one peer tutoring programme is available for those who need extra help. Students are also given a campus orientation and a tour of country , which includes visits to supermarkets, shopping centre, banks and government departments.
Besides learning about our culture, students also have the opportunity to learn and experience other cultures of the world. This is possible because NZPTC student population is made up of students from all around the world such as Asia, South America, Middle-East, Eastern Europe and the Pacific Islands.
